Blessing of the Animals

To commemorate the patron saint of the animals and ecology, the members at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church bring their pets — cats, dogs, chickens, lizards and more — to church for a blessing during this event. Attendees should have their pets leashed or in a crate. People may also choose to bring a photo of their pet, a stuffed toy, or the photo of a pet who has passed.
