Pet Wellness Clinic
Animal Allies hosts this event at North Pointe Resource Center. Services provided at no cost* include nail trimming, ear cleaning and microchipping. North Pointe Resource Center (formerly known as the Rainbow Center) is located at 211 N. 3rd Ave. E., Duluth. *Treatment of animals will be at the discretion of Animal Allies staff dependent on health, temperament, etc.

Whoopsa Daisy Farm is a family farm for all ages. The farm has wagon rides, a sandbox, a corn pit, a maze, donkeys, goats, crafts, Dino Land, Fairyland, yard games, scavenger hunts, playgrounds and tractors. Walking around the farm, folks will often let the kids play, pick some berries or shop for the berries, jams, and other crafts. Pick-Your-Own Blueberries begins in August. Guests explore a spookily-decorated Aquarium, trick-or-treat among the exhibits, and show off their creative costumes. Great Lakes Aquarium provides crafts, projects and games as well as activity materials to take home and enjoy. Great Lakes Aquarium participates in the Teal Pumpkin Project, which means that no edible treats are be provided during trick-or-treat. Pre-registration is required for all parties. John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon 2024
The 40th running of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon begins at Billy's Bar. The start of the race is open to the public and free to attend. A gate or shuttle donation of $5 per individual or $10 per family is suggested. The Beargrease is the longest sled-dog race in the lower 48 and is a qualifier for the famed “Iditarod” in Alaska.
