PJ’s Rescue Presents: Vine & Wine Bingo
The Caddy Shack hosts a fundraiser for PJ's Rescue. Bingo starts at 1 p.m. and all ticket sales go to medical and training bills for the rescue dogs.

Participants can to ask Kristen and David Austin of Waterpaw Ponds how to maintain, repair or expand ponds. They have over 40 years of combined experience and can help with questions. How to clean your pond in the spring? How to naturally reduce algae with enzymes and salts? How to keep your water feature or pond pet and wildlife safe? How do you add lights? Participants are encouraged to bring photos of their water feature.

Toast to Tails
Lake Superior Zoo hosts Toast to Tails, a tribute to the Roaring '20s. There will be an appetizer buffet, alcohol tastings, music, animal encounters and games. North Shore Ballroom will teach three dances: the Charleston, Swing and Foxtrot. There will also be a Silent Movie/Silent Auction Theater with a popcorn bar and a costume contest with prizes for the winners. Tickets are $45 for zoo members, $50 for non-members and $125 for VIPs.

Everyone Can Bird is presented at Chambers Grove and follows the migration of many different bird species returning for the spring. This event is planned in partnership with the Friends of the Lake Superior Reserve, Duluth Parks and Recreation, Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory, Wisconsin Sea Grant, Embark Supported Employment, Minnesota Land Trust and the Lake Superior Reserve. Walk for Animals is more than just a walk. There will be vendors and entertainment to enjoy. Food Trucks, balloon twisting, a 360 photo booth, ball drop, a caricature artist, vendors will be at the park. This day is all about bringing the community and their furry friends together for a great cause. Help raise money to help the dogs and cats at Animal Allies.

The Proctor Speedway is hosting their first ever Shop, Swap and Snack. This event features 100+ local makers and vendors, over a dozen food trucks featuring some of the northlands best mobile food options and a tack swap to help cowboys and cowgirls find new homes for some of their tack.

John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon 2025
The 40th running of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon begins at Billy's Bar. The start of the race is open to the public and free to attend. A gate or shuttle donation of $5 per individual or $10 per family is suggested. The Beargrease is the longest sled-dog race in the lower 48 and is a qualifier for the famed “Iditarod” in Alaska.
