Altars of Grief and Remembrance: a Ritual and Art Experience
Free
Attendees can create a three-dimensional memorial artwork inspired by the Mexican tradition of the ofrenda. In this four-session art and ritual experience, participants can explore grief and remembrance through photographs, personal objects and art materials, while learning about the tradition of Día de los Muertos.
People can attend one session or all four. No art experience required. Participants will be invited to display their work at Duluth All Souls Night on Saturday, November 7 at the St. Louis County Depot Great Hall.
This is a pay-what-you-can event with a recommendation of $10-20.
