Google Goes to Twin Ports – The Movie

I’m interested in hearing comments about this video shot in Duluth. Do you think it portrays our city fairly? Does it make you want to visit Duluth? What do you think?

Who put this type of filth on the internet?! Won’t someone think of the children?!?!?!?

The part where the Google girl makes traffic speed up makes me want to visit Duluth.

Duluth is all about cute, cuddly little puppies, that’s for sure. Had the filmmakers concentrated solely on puppies, or maybe a history of the Great Dogs Of Duluth, we would have won this thing!

For the benefit of anyone who might not pick up on why Google Goes to Twin Ports has been re-posted with the request for comments on how it “portrays our city”:

I watched the “Dumpin Back” video at least three times all the way through and sought out other videos by Low Filmz. I had to turn this off 20 seconds in because it made me feel way too uncomfortable.

I just got thrown by the fact that the lady who dropped the fresh oranges was at Lake Avenue and Superior Street downtown. That is nowhere near a grocery store that uses paper bags and carries fresh fruit!

We better be careful what we say, lest the director’s wife come back and bitch us all out again.

I kept thinking about the grocery bag as well. I thought maybe the woman was taking the bus and had to do a transfer in downtown in order to get to Superior…. but then they mentioned that she had a car right there. The devil is in the details.
