Maternal Mental Health Community Discussions at UMD
The State of Minnesota recently released the Minnesota Maternal Mortality Report, which found that the number one cause of death in the period of pregnancy, birth and postpartum was mental health.
The University of Minnesota Duluth is assembling a community conversation around postpartum mental health in September. We are calling it an “interprofessional dialogue,” because we want to bring all sorts of people together — from medical professionals to early childhood educators to doulas and more.
