Postcard from the Duluth Depot

The message on the back of this Union Depot postcard is dated June 8, 1912 — 110 years ago today. The names are tricky to read, but the sender signs off from Detroit, Mich. and the recipient was in Beaver Dam, Wis.

The card is postmarked June 10 and the message reads:

June 8/12
Hello Al. Say you’re a fine fellow to write to. I dropped you a card and guess you’re afraid to answer. I am having a good time. How is Beaver Dam? Now if you don’t answer this is the last card you get from me.
