Postcard from a Typical Lumber Camp in Northern Minnesota

This postcard was mailed 110 years ago today — Jan. 18, 1912. It depicts a “typical lumber camp in northern Minnesota.”

The name of the sender is difficult to read, but the recipient was Ole Thompson. The message on the back reads:

Dear Uncle,
Just to let you know I am as far as Duluth. Not very cold here.
