Local writers share their stories

From my friends at work; this looks cool.

UMD’s Commission on Equity, Race, and Ethnicity is pleased to share the recording of “Sharing Our Stories: A Conversation with Four Anishinaabe Authors.” The Nov. 9th event featured Linda LeGarde Grover, Marcie Rendon, Dennis Staples, and Carter Meland; we hope you will find time to watch their discussion. (The recording is fully captioned.)

Thank you again to CERE’s many co-sponsors for the event, including the Department of American Indian Studies; the American Indian Learning Resource Center; the Department of English, Linguistics, and Writing Studies; the Office of Diversity and Inclusion; the Chancellor’s Climate Change Teams; and the Department of Studies in Justice, Culture and Social Change.
