Postcard from the Aerial Lift Bridge at Night

This undated postcard, published by Zenith Interstate News Company, depicts the Duluth Ship Canal and Aerial Lift Bridge circa the early half of the 20th century.

The caption on the back reads:

The Lift Bridge is a mecca for tourists at any time of day, but at night it is unusually attractive. Very often freighters and passenger boats go thru the canal in the evening and the S. S. Montauk makes around the horn trips nightly during the summer excursion season. The lights of Duluth, twinkling all over the hillside, is a sight worth seeing from the lake at night.
