Empire Lanes: Who knows the stories behind this story?

I found this comic in a fifty-cent bin. The online summaries are engaging.

All seems lost for Princess Alarie and her few loyal companions: They are trapped, besieged, and one of their number already lies on the brink of death. Their only hope for escape is a magical hole, a portal to one of countless unknown worlds. But the bizarre, surreal place they find themselves soon makes them wish they‘d stayed to face the murderous forces of Alarie‘s treacherous uncle. For although this new world may provide the refuge they seek, the adventurers must first face the horrifying perils and strange creatures commonly found in a “bowling alley.”

Reviews of Duluthian Peter Gross’ Empire Lanes were very positive.

Empire Lanes works. Every bit of it. It all just works.”

Does anyone have some stories about this cool project?

Empire Lanes was a comic book series created in Duluth by Peter Gross. Here's a link to his Twitter account.

Cool find. Back in the 90s, I took a summer-long comic drawing course with Peter at the Duluth Depot. I was a middle-schooler and deep into the comic world at the time. Peter was a really kind and talented man. I have often wondered what he is up to!
