This undated postcard from Gallagher’s Studio of Photography shows a waterfall and the famous swinging bridge on the St. Louis River at Jay Cooke State Park.

The caption on the back reads:

3,375 acres of park adjoining the gorge of the St. Louis River just above Fond du Lac in Duluth, Minn. It can be reached also from Carlton, Minn. Beautiful rugged country to explore — Trails to hike or ride horseback. Ideal family picnic spots complete with tables and fireplaces.
