Michael Ness of Coon Rapids and his family made this stop-motion video of a Duluth Shipping Canal scene for a contest organized by Odyssey Resorts.

Quoth Ness:

Our entire family had a blast working together to recreate one of our favorite activities to do up north, for the @odysseyresorts contest. There is so much we love about the north shore! But one of our most favorite things is watching the boats in Canal Park and learning about Minnesota history. We can’t wait to go back up north for a vacation!
