Mystery Photo #46: Duluth-area Bowling Alley
From the depths of my wife’s closet comes this old photo from her family collection, presumably shot at a Duluth-area bowling alley roughly 50 or 60 years ago. Since we’re talking about a West Duluth family, Stadium Lanes would be the number one contender. Whatever bowling alley it is, it’s likely to have been remodeled and then closed since this photo was taken, so this might be a tough solve.

It looks to be Stadium Lanes as they had 24 lanes and also used Brunswick equipment.
I can’t say that I know bowling equipment. I suppose a few alleys in the city could have used the same gear. A picture dated from 1983 appears on the News Tribune’s site which looks remarkably similar. It’s one of four photos included with a 2014 article about the closing of Stadium Lanes.
Thanks Bubzcz and Maestro, that looks like a solve to me!
