I know last summer Frankie's owners were trying to get Bev Robinson (of Bev's Juke Joint fame) to buy the place. She was kind of "managing" it during Blues Fest last year.

Sad!!! So many memories from the college years (... and a few after).

Does anyone know when Frankie's opened?

According to the Superior Telegram:

Rozowski’s father opened Frankie’s Tavern about 60 years ago. Originally located at 1710 N. 12th St., current home of the Eagle’s Club, Frankie’s moved to Tower Avenue a few decades ago.
