Minnesota is an island of sanity in a sea of craziness. It was a night of ups and downs that ended with my chosen candidates prevailing, some of them with razor-thin margins (Nolan) and others in decisive blow-outs (Dayton, Franken, and Schultz). Wisconsin has broken my heart though: I thought the Cheeseheads would rid us all of Walker once and for all. God help us all.

As long as Claire is hanging around Duluth, Minnesota will never be an "island of sanity."

Claire, you essentially called all those who didn't vote your preferred way 'crazy' so Manny's response was only fair.

Either way, it's your "my side is awesome, the other side is evil" style of political thinking that is the true problem in politics today. Both sides attempt to get their followers to think that way and you clearly have bought in.
