Toby Thomas Churchill’s second solo album trapped in future

Duluth’s Toby Thomas Churchill plans to record his next album with Ben Durrant at Crazy Beast studio in Minneapolis. You can help fund it by contributing to the Kickstarter campaign. His first solo album, Death, came out in 2011.

Here’s a clip of Churchill performing “The Lord is Not My Real Dad” at the Underground for WDSE-TV’s The PlayList.

Churchill, by the way, is one of only five people who have played every Homegrown Music Festival. He played the 1999 to 2004 festivals with Crazy Betty, the 2004 to 2012 festivals with the Alrights and the 2012 to 2013 festivals as a solo artist.
