Networking, Wine and Cheese

Last night, Kate and I went, as representatives of Wildwoods to the Minnesota Council of Non-Profits Member Appreciation event. The event, organized by Jim Philby Williams, at the Minnesota Wine Exchange, located at 3 W. Superior St. in downtown Duluth, was a great opportunity to learn about other non-profits (the Priya Project was my favorite). It was an opportunity to meet local businesspeople primed to help local non-profits (e.g. TCG Accounting, started by a student who took one of my classes and decided to cut his own path in an awesome way). The food was tasty, too.

Afterward, a lakewalk with Tim, part-owner of the local comic shop. It’s a ritual to stop at Fizzy Waters and buy some soda. A good night out. What did you do?
