New Nerd Haven: Rogue Robot

Games, comics and action figures are available at Rogue Robot Comics and Games, which celebrated their grand opening last week.

The shop occupies the former Dragon Port space, though you simply would never know it. The space has been redone by someone with a sense of design, and the landlords and new owner seem certain not to make the mistakes that killed DragonPort — for starters, a sign on the side of the building visible from Superior Street.

The interior space has been repainted — but repainted such that the walls and tabletops match, for example, the kind of touch that makes the space welcoming and comfortable.

Owner at Table

The action figures are a welcome addition to the product lines available in Duluth. The staff are friendly. Welcome, Rogue Robot.

On Slow Motion

The Slow Motion exhibit at Prøve was a puzzler for me, initially. The pieces were, as always, dynamic and transformative.
