New Ayurveda 30-day Challenge

What do you know about Ayurveda? No matter your experience level, this 30-day challenge will deepen your knowledge in a practical way that you can incorporate into your life.

Starts this Sunday, Jan. 30. Meets once a week from 6-7:15pm until Feb. 27.

Learn to see life through the lens of ayurveda & the 5 great elements of nature.  Weekly lessons will guide you in observing the elements in your body & mind, in your diet, environment, lifestyle & activities — helping you move to a deeper level of balance & sattva (clarity).

1.  determine individual doshas, get a basic understanding of the elements in the body

2. look at the elements in our diet, emphasizing mindfulness of what we eat & how it makes us feel

3. experiment with eating for our specific doshas using all 6 tastes

4. shift focus to the elements around us: our environments (natural & man-made), our lifestyles & activities

5. examine how to use these tools to move towards sattva (clarity) in our lives

All experience levels are welcome. Class takes place at Yoga North (in St Michael’s Elementary School in the Lakeside neighborhood of Duluth). Instructor Bonnie Williams Ambrosi is a certified Ayurvedic Health Educator (American Institute of Vedic Studies, 1996). She has been practicing & teaching Ayurveda for 15 years.

Cost is $83– includes course materials. Contact us at the studio 218.722.YOGA or register online.
