Below is the agenda for today’s anti-war protest in Duluth.

-5-6pm: “Books Not Bombs” picket at the corner of Lake Ave. & 2nd St. (in front of the School District offices)

-6-6:15pm: March from the picket site to the steps of City Hall. During the march the Rah Rah Revolutionaries (the radical cheerleaders) will lead us in the chants listed below).

-6:15-6:30pm: Antiwar poetry reading on the steps of City Hall.

-6:30-7pm: The “War Pigs” antiwar skit will be performed on the steps of City Hall.

Today’s protest is sponsored by the Northland Anti-War Coalition and endorsed by UMD Students for Peace, CSS Center for Just Living, Grandmothers for Peace, Socialist Action, UWS Youth for Socialist Action, Lake Superior Greens, and the Rah Rah Revolutionaries.

The protest is being held as part of a national week of action against the war (Oct. 7-16) that was called by the United National Antiwar Conference.
