Break out the jean jackets, Tribute Fest is two months away

Oooooh yeeeeeah, you better believe Perfect Duluth Day is a proud sponsor of Tribute Fest at the Buffalo House.

They’ll be playing more than just some Skynyrd at the Buff in August. Here’s the Tribute Fest lineup:

Friday, Aug. 20
4pm Dust & Bones (Guns ‘n’ Roses)
6pm Electric Eye (Judas Priest)
8pm TNT (AC/DC)
10pm Zed Leppelin (Led Zeppelin)

Saturday, Aug. 21
12pm Arch Allies (Journey, REO Speedwagon and Styx)
2pm Californication (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
4pm Poisoned (Poison)
6pm Bad Medicine (Bon Jovi)
8pm Freebird (Lynyrd Skynyrd)
10pm Sharp Dressed Man (ZZ Top)

If you don’t frequently use some variation of the F-word as a modifier to “party,” you can probably make a lot of dough babysitting during this event.

I heard that Christa Lawler's 80s Ladies cover band, Christa Lawler and The is going to try and make an appearance at Tribute Fest this year. Is there any truth to that rumor, or am I just making it up right now?

They're still trying to find a keytar player. Or maybe that's my personal fan fiction.

The Arch Allies guys actually 'wig-trade' between 'bands'!! This is worth the price of admission alone!

Clarifornication, Please.

The website has a Red Hot Chili Pepper band listed for the Chicago slot. I vote for dumping the Bon Jovi band in favor of either of these but even so it's a can't-miss event.

Also making an appearance will be dial-up internet, slap bracelets and a war in Iraq.

The post has been updated to show Californication is indeed playing in place of Transit Authority. Good eye, Darrell.
