That was freakin’ brilliant! Wow, what a way to end the video show. I’m so glad you posted this, it dserves to be seen by as many people as possible. Ironic1, did you stick around for the documentary? We went to the poetry showcase at Zuccone, where Patrick McKinnon’s poem was so powerful, we left after he spoke (and of course we had to get to the playhouse by 9 pm or there’d be hell to pay).

    Best in show!

We’ll be posting a new video from the festival every day throughout the rest of Homegrown. And there will eventually be a page to view all of them. Thanks Ironic1, for getting us started.

Claire, I didn’t. I had Our Town rehearsal last night and, because of that, I couldn’t pick up my little thespians until 9:30 myself. I am sure there will be infernal compensation due.

I second that “Best in Show.” Loved the costumes and the green screen and the little kid, didn’t love the pink bikini, but… it was humorous.

Braxton is apparently a rising star among the prepubescent theatre kids set. Kinda the next Nathaniel Harvie. What a great video.

Braxton? I thought that was Dave Mehling.

I wanna know who the guy in the hot pink underwear is, he is hilarious.

That’s Luke Holden, also of Healthy Band Music Club, and one half of the subjects of this documentary, among many other things.

Also winner “Best Beard in Show.” This video is especially hilarious when you keep in mind the amount of people stopping to stare at us while filming at Brighton Beach. It was a lot. Of people. Staring at us. Tomfoolery.

Glenn, are you speaking of your beard, or Abe’s?

Glenn, you play a rad broom.
