HEADS UP: the Roast of Rick Boo (and spaghetti dinner) is this Wednesday at Pizza Lucé at 7PM. Admission requires a weeklong wristband (purchasable at the door) and a $10 ticket (available in advance at Lucé). I would recommend buying your ticket in advance, since seating is limited. If you “don’t want to eat,” you still have to pay the $10 and have a weeklong wristband. Proceeds benefit the Miracle League of Duluth.
Roasters include: Cory “Hot Rod” Ahlm, John Lee, Mark Lindquist, the Cacophonic Choir, Chad Lyons, Devin McKinnon, Carolyn Reisberg, Blaise Taylor and Chris Whittier. Big Dick Loudmouth is hot off MCing a Roller Derby doubleheader and an RT Quinlan’s Homegrown primer, so he should be in top form.
Working on a Owl’s Club cocktail hour at 6PM Wednesday evening as well. Details to follow.
