What is Free Comic Book Day?

Free Comic Book Day is a single day – the first Saturday in May each year – when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free* to anyone who comes into their stores. *Check with your local shop for its participation and rules.

FCBD was awesome.  DragonPort had the selection to end all selections -- thirty comics by more than two dozen publishers.  

Meanwhile, Collector's Connection was hopping in their new location, with a selection of Italian mystery comis to make their FCBD event unique.

Now that we have two huge storefronts for comics in Duluth, when can we expect some comics events?
