On KUMD this morning, Larry Weber said this week's white was from balsam poplar. Willow and quaking aspen were late May.

He also talked about seeing a cool flight of four spotted skimmer dragonflies in town yesterday morning around 11. I saw them around 10:30 near the coop. They just kept coming.
