   We walked a little bit out and the ice was smooth, mostly snow free and thick.

   Wow, that looks gorgeous, like a sheet of glass! If we weren’t doing some serious downhill skiing this weekend in preparation for a school ski day Tuesday, I’d be on the Lake, doing some skating. Maybe next weekend. . .
