Wild Mushrooms 101

During this class, students learn about foraging and identifying wild mushrooms. Discussions include basic information, steps for identification, steps for foraging, which ones are edible and which are not, recommended resources and more. Students also handle real mushrooms to get some hands-on experience. This class takes place in a classroom but teaches the skills and knowledge to find and identify mushrooms in the wild.
