Veterans Remembrance Dinner 2025
$60
The St. Louis County Historical Society and its Veterans Memorial Hall program host the 20th annual Veterans Remembrance Dinner in the Great Hall of the St. Louis County Depot. The annual fundraising event honors America’s history and service members. It includes a social hour and a silent auction fundraiser.
Dave Anderson, an active member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and a meteorologist/reporter at Northern News Now, delivers the keynote address sharing his powerful interviews with local Pearl Harbor survivors.
The dinner’s purpose is to continue to remember Dec. 7, 1941 — the “Day that will live in Infamy” –and celebrate the enduring spirit of the armed forces with a theme recognizing several major milestones, including the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps, aligning with the country’s 250th birthday year in 2026.
Guests will also witness the announcement of the Mike Colalillo Medal of Honor Scholarship winner and hear special addresses from Minnesota dignitaries, including Senator
Amy Klobuchar and District 8 Congressional Representative Pete Stauber.
The new USS Duluth exhibit will also be unveiled.
Proceeds from the event support VMH events, exhibits, education, programs, projects and improvements to the Medal of Honor Row display.
