Studio Oil Painting with Matt Kania

This Duluth Art Institute class is customized to advance individual painters’ skills. Subjects can include painting from a still life, copying the works of master painters or learning to paint figures and portraits. Students are encouraged to work at larger sizes and to learn and employ broad brush methods, including brush handling techniques and working with mediums.

Sessions are on Thursday nights from Oct. 20 to Nov. 10, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost of materials is about $25.
