Setting the Table: A Panel on the Local Landscape of Duluth’s Food Communities
Free
Attendees learn from local leaders in farming, food banking, nutrition, grocery, and gardening on the opportunities and challenges among Duluth’s food scene to understand how the UMD community can support and supplement these vital programs and projects. “Food for Thought” is a collaborative effort between UMD Dining Services and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to bolster education on how the campus community can contribute to food security, access, knowledge, pleasure, and justice. Made possible through the Chancellor’s Innovation Grant. This event is free and open to the public.
