Pumpkin Run & Walk 5k 2026

The 21st annual Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K is race where participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes or orange clothing to celebrate the theme. Prizes are awarded for the best costumes.

In addition to the 5K option, there is a shorter Ring Road Fun Run that circles the campus. Youth ages 10 and under can register for the Ring Road Fun Run for free. All registered participants receive a T-shirt.

The Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K course starts and finishes at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. Essentially flat, the course features a fast downhill stretch with a return trip up the same hill. Mile markers are posted and traffic control measures are in place. There are no water stops on the course, but water is available at the start and finish area. Strollers, roller skates, skateboards, baby joggers, bicycles and pets are not permitted on the 5K race course.

The Ring Road Fun Run starts at 9:30 a.m.; the Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K starts at 10.

This event is presented by the Miskwaadesi Head Start Project, which is part of Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College’s Child Development program.
