Out on a Limb: Textured Birch Painting Class

Slow down and spend an evening with the quiet beauty of birch trees. In this hands-on mixed media class, students will build a woodland scene layer by layer on canvas, starting with a soft pastel base that sets the mood and glow of your forest. All materials are provided. Particpants will leave with a nearly finished textured birch painting that needs extra drying time before it’s fully set, along with new mixed media skills, and techniques for light, shadow and depth to use on future paintings.
