Grand Traverse 2026

The Grand Traverse offers four challenging distance hikes and runs on the Superior Hiking Trail — 10, 17, 21 or 27 miles. All distances are point to point, with transportation provided to the start.

Buses depart from Fitger’s Brewery Complex. Parking is free in the Fitger’s Complex ramp.

Shuttle Departure Times
27 miles: 6:30 a.m. to starting at point East Palkie Road
21 miles: 6:50 a.m. to starting point at Beck’s Road Munger Trailhead near Ely’s Peak
17 miles: 7:50 a.m. to starting point at Magney Snively Trailhead
10 miles: 8:45 a.m. to starting point at Cody Street and North 66th Avenue West

Shuttles to all distances depart by the Pickwick Resturant, located next to the Fitger’s Complex. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time to allow plenty of time for parking, registration check-in, bib pick-up, gear organizing and loading the shuttle.
