Flex Those Shoes

The Duluth Foot Trails Alliance and Duluth Cross Country Ski Club host a hike on National Trails Day to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Superior Hiking Trail. Hikers will meet at the Hartley Nature Center Trailhead at 10:30 a.m. and hike towards Martin Road.

The goal is to have groups hiking every stretch of the trail, from end to end, on this day. After the hike, participants can gather at Ursa Minor Brewing, where one of the four Superior Hiking Trail birthday parties will be happening from 4-7 p.m. No sign-up necessary. There will be SHT-themed sweet treats and free drink tokens (as supplies last), giveaways and the opportunity to purchase limited-edition 40th Anniversary SHT merchandise. Special guest appearances by some SHT legends, too.
