Emerald City Masquerade Ball

Choice Unlimited’s annual masquerade ball features live performances, a DJ and dancing, savory bites, a photo booth, a prize raffle, a silent auction and a complimentary drink included with the ticket.

The dress code is “Oz-some attire,” i.e. creative formal wear inspired by Emerald City, the capital of the fictional Land of Oz. Slip into a pair of ruby slippers or get decked out in all black and grab a crooked broom.

The event raises funds for its arts program. The organization offers employment and day support for people with disabilities. Fund from the maquerade ball make it possible to offer professionally taught classes and instruction in studio visual arts, music, creative writing, theater arts, and movement and dance.

The outreach theater program, Bold-choice Theatre Company, continues to tour original productions to thousands of audience members each year, spreading the message of acceptance and pride.
