Duluth Drag Races 2026

The annual Duluth Drag Races feature cars racing along Garfield Avenue on Duluth’s Rice’s Point. The event is the nation’s only legal 1/8-mile drag race on a public street. Races are Sept. 26-27.

Schedule
6:30 a.m. – Drag race driver arrival
7 a.m. – Drag race driver tech inspection
9 a.m. – Gates open to the public
9:30 a.m. – Driver meeting at announcer stand
10 a.m. – Racing begins
4:30 p.m. – Racing ends
6 p.m. – Gates close
