Book Launch Celebration: Marcie Rendon and Sam Zimmerman

The release of Napesni Renegade: A Bison’s Journey (Charlesbridge Publishing) by award-winning Ojibwe author Marcie Rendon and Ojibwe artist Sam Zimmerman is commemorated during this event. The authors will share their new picture book with families and children and answer questions about their work, and the book will be available for purchase and can be personally autographed.

Napesni Renegade: A Bison’s Journey is based on a true story about a wild bison known as Napesni. It’s a picture book for 3–7-year-olds who love animals and are looking for stories with a theme of “home.”
