Perfect Duluth Restaurant Nominations – 2018
It’s been five years since we polled PDD readers to determine the perfect Duluth restaurant. Since then, the New Scenic Cafe has been the reigning champ.
A lot has happened in the local restaurant scene since 2013. It’s time to survey folks again to find out if there’s a new favorite. Certainly, this is a subjective process. One person’s idea of the “perfect” restaurant may vary widely from another’s.
The expectation is for nominations to slant toward restaurants deemed worthy of spending that few extra bucks for a special occasion. But this is a democratic process, so we’ll leave that up to you. If the mere mention of a certain sandwich shop makes you lick your chops, feel free to name it here. But no fast-food chain nominations, please.
What qualifies for nomination as a Duluth restaurant? Any eatery in Duluth or within 10 miles of its border is eligible. Establishments in Superior, Hermantown, Proctor and the various bordering townships all qualify; but Two Harbors and Cloquet do not.
