Trail construction around Enger Golf Course?
I live near the Enger Golf Course and this summer I noticed what appeared to be construction of a trail or small road on the edge of parts of the golf course. Since I couldn’t find anything about this online I figured this was probably some kind of service road for the golf course but I thought I would make this post and see if anyone out there has any info about the purpose of the recent road/trail created on the parameter of the Enger Golf Course.
The Duluth Traverse perhaps?
The traverse passes below skyline under Enger Tower. But things are happening so fast with the Duluth Traverse, I’m not 100 percent sure.
I am pretty sure it is not the Duluth Traverse which I ride frequently and is on the opposite side of Skyline from the golf course as Eric mentioned. I thought maybe the golf course was building a cross country ski trail around the course. You can see the trail as you are driving up Trinity on your right side shortly after you pass the traffic light by the skyline Bridge.
The Traverse crosses Skyline at the twin ponds and loops around a bit over to Observation Rd.
I did a little exploring. I think it’s some kind of service road. Much of it was overgrown with long grass.
