Where (and What) in Duluth?
I have walked by this marker for years and the other day stopped to take a closer look, and a photo. Anyone know what it says and why it is here?
With a half hour spent on search engines I found this explanation.
Still doesn’t explain why the marker was placed there originally.

Sadly, the DNT laid Andy Krueger off not too long after receiving the email with details from Marilyn. Andy was later rehired (yay!), but I think the email got lost in the shuffle.
The Lincoln Park Tombstone was also the subject of a PDD post in 2006, so the subject has come full circle: PDD, News Tribune Attic, Zenity City Online and back to PDD.
So that rock marks a portal to the center of the earth. I would never have guessed.
