As much as I personally agree about bicycles on sidewalks, it is perfectly legal under Minnesota statutes.
(d) A person operating a bicycle upon a sidewalk, or across a roadway or shoulder on a crosswalk, shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian and shall give an audible signal when necessary before overtaking and passing any pedestrian. No person shall ride a bicycle upon a sidewalk within a business district unless permitted by local authorities. Local authorities may prohibit the operation of bicycles on any sidewalk or crosswalk under their jurisdiction
Driving is awesome, but please 1.) Wait until your car’s idling has defrosted your windows completely 2.) I didn’t see the cameraman’s seat belt being fastened…
I think the most important part here is that Keegan is out there doing it and reporting back to us about transportation options in a sober, rational manner. I applaud anyone thinking outside the (GM) box and should not be ‘nicely reminded’ they are being irresponsible.
Biking is awesome, but please 1.) get off the sidewalk, and 2.) put on a helmet.
