Personally I think the cold helped. The fact that the weather is so horrible means that everyone was inside on their computers voting instead of actually being outside like the other cities.
It’s interesting that 4 of the top 5 are northern cities. Could it be that it’s just too hot in the south to be outside much of the year? At least up here, we can (usually) dress for the weather, but how do you dress for 95 degree heat?
