Thanks to (presumably) Paul who fixed my post headline. Super tacky of me… 😉
I was hoping that someone would make a refresher post about this opportunity to promote the city of Duluth. I’ve been voting every round thanks to reminders on facebook.
CRAP! I went to vote on my home computer and seriously clicked the wrong fucking button!
If Minneapolis wins by one vote, I give you permission to run me out of town. 🙁
I have you covered, BadCat!
Duluth is winning. Is this like Kim Jong Un was voted Time’s person of the year as a prank?
I may have found something fishy (while doing something fishy).
Voted on IE yesterday (accidentally clicking Minneapolis because I’m a dumb-ass). Go to website today, shows Minneapolis: 17,008, Duluth: 17,821.
Load chrome and vote because I need to cancel yesterday’s vote out, shows Minneapolis: 16,893, Duluth: 17,816.
What the hell?
I can’t get any of the links to work on Chrome.
Burlington, VT and Ithaca, NY both jumped over 100K votes overnight. I guess this is a battle of the script kiddies.
Posted on the website today:
Update (Jun 1, 10:18 a.m. MST): Due to the overwhelming fervor for the remaining Best Towns, our vote tracker malfunctioned Saturday night. We’ve now fixed it. Don’t worry, your actual votes were counted. Carry on.
Duluth vs Provo, wow. I suppose it’s a contest for towns in pleasant natural settings which don’t offer much to do indoors…
