Grand Rapids

Too far to be a suburb, too close to be another major metropolitan area? I spent Saturday visiting the MacRostie Art Center, Infinite Games, this tasty Chinese Buffet across from the Village Bookstore, their Riverwalk… what a pleasant community.

My kids love the coffee shop, drawing a blank now. It’s an annual stop for lunch on the drive to drop off kid at camp (and on the return pick up),

And if you’re a knitter — nice yarn shop.

Brewed Awakenings is the coffee shop. If you are wanting a Chinese buffet check out the one downtown [New China Restaurant].
