I really enjoyed the fiber show, Annie, is it the same one there a few weeks ago? The fiber art exhibit I saw there isn’t just like “How to Make an American Quilt” stuff or the wild Halloween costumes my mom used to make for us when we were kids (not that there is anything wrong with those things as art). These fiber installations were more like sculpture, for lack of a better word. As someone new to fiber arts I was impressed with the skill and especially the creativity on display. I really felt the passion of the artists for their works.
I have seen a bit of the new show as it was going up. It looks very cool! I can’t wait to see it during the opening tonight!!
Narum is the best cheap date in Duluth.

LOVED THE EXHIBITS! Portage was perfect in that gallery, loved his Russian sound. He’s playing at Homegrown, right?
