Gathering on Superior St?
Today at about 1pm I was headed down East Superior Street, and in front of the DAIP building there was a crowd with some telescope-ish looking items. Does anyone know what was going on or see it as well? I was quite confused, since they were all facing toward the Sheraton.

Peregrine Falcon Chicks Take Flight
We were driving down E. Superior last weekend and we saw a bunch of people looking up at the Greysolon, found out later it was the falcons.
I was driving and saw the same thing and heard someone comment about the birds. Unfortunately, due to the traffic, I was unable to turn around and take a look.

I was a volunteer with them the last 4 years and would have been again if I were still there. I’ve had to settle for following the daily emails. (Hawk Ridge website would have the link.) It’s a great mingling experience when they’re set up in Lake Place Park with everyone from kids to homeless to downtown workers to tourists following the nest box events.
The falcons are amazing. My office is in the Temple Building and the whole family was buzzing and screeching outside my window today.
I do, however, wonder if the people with the telescopes sneak a peak into the Sharaton rooms every now and then.
