Did you really get that much hail? I glanced out of my window downtown and it fell here, but just for a couple of seconds, tops. No accumulation for more than a minute or so.

I mean, no accumulation AFTER a minute or so.

I was driving my car, it was like ping pong balls raining down on me from the heavens. I was tempted to pull over til it passed, I could barely see the road in front of me.

Yes, it wouldn’t let up, especially when you are caught on a Chester Creek trail sans trees (it was lightning anyway)with the dog, who’s head you naturally tuck between your legs. I had a hat on, but bending over the dog exposed the old back with just a Tshirt on. And sandals. That pea-hail stung. Dog was traumatized and happy to make it to the 8th St. under bridge for respite. Ever see the storm pipe there during a storm? It’s brown and strong. A little disgusting. The flow makes one wonder why the city is making us fix our lateral (which it really can’t prove has failed).
