The Social House, a casual restaurant in Duluth’s Canal Park district, held a soft opening over the weekend and officially opened this morning. The location is the former Famous Dave’s at 355 S. Lake Ave.

This is the second location for the restaurant, founded by Matt “Bert” Berthiaume. The original at 4897 Miller Trunk Highway in Hermantown opened in July 2019.

The Social Club is particularly known for its breakfasts. Specials at the Canal Park location include walleye tacos, walleye cake benedict, Italian panini, banana cream pancakes and red velvet pancakes.
