Two Superior warehouses destroyed by fire
Warehouses at 1507 and 1515 N. First St. in the North End of Superior were destroyed by fire this morning. The Blatnik Bridge was temporarily closed due to smoke from the blaze.
Bayside Warehouse, 1515 N. First St., is in the foreground of this photo from May 2, 2021. It was destroyed when a fire spread from the neighboring warehouse, seen in the background.
That’s fucking great. God dammit. The two best looking buildings in that whole area. Son of a bitch that pisses me off.
That sucks. I had hopes that Earth Rider Brewery would have been the catalyst for a craft district on that end of town. Those buildings were begging for redevelopment. Superior’s answer to Lincoln Park.
