Release of Sofia Logan’s debut album

Stillwater-based artist Sofia Logan has released her debut album, Waiting for You, Waiting for Me. The album was recorded in December 2019 in a home near the University of Minnesota Duluth that houses what is believed to be one of the city’s first recording studios.

Low-brass expert Derek Bromme of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra played trombone and tuba on most of the tracks of the album.

Waiting for You, Waiting for Me was produced by former Duluth resident, Andrew Turpening. Sofia and Andrew recently collaborated on a song and music video, “Quarantine,” which was featured on Perfect Duluth Day several weeks ago.
